I'm the Stitch Killer!

Alright so I've been working like an a** for two months now, creating new designs, filling up sketch books and trying to perfect my sewing techniques. And ah that last one was the real challenge! I've come a long way, from not knowing how to hold a needle to actually cross stitching and other fancy named kind of stitches. Yes I tell you I can sew!

I'm officially done with Term 1 now. And my first project ended up in one piece. And if I may say a beautiful one. I've done it! I know I could have done it better if I had more time, maybe 5 more months! Naaa, I'm kind of satisfied, and surely impressed by the outcome. I know I have worked hard, and seriously never imagined making a shirt from scratch.

My sewing machine and I are becoming BFF's now, after 3 months of struggling we finally made peace and are ready to work on a new project.

I've also worked on creating designer fabrics, using different techniques and kinds of textiles. The class with Jason was fun and exciting. I've learned so much about textiles and how to design and create the best one!

Here is some of my work: I've uploaded some samples, and 2 photos from the photo shoot I did entitled "Melancolie". (ouais jme la pete huh).
